Sound has been the constant.
Sam Cutri is an Australian composer, producer, sound artist, performer and educator whose practice spans recorded music, electronic performance, screen composition, community development, cultural storytelling and immersive sonic art.
Across 30 years, his work has evolved from creating music for records, stages and screens into a deeper investigation of sound as a physical, emotional and relational experience, built through trust, participation and deep listening.

Sound is not simply heard.
It is encountered.
Sam’s current practice explores the meeting point between composition, psychoacoustics, lived experience and collective listening.
Using voice, guitar, percussion, electronic sound, harmonic resonance and spatial movement, he creates environments in which sound is felt physically, emotionally and collectively.
