Electronic music · Festivals · Live production
Independent music shaped in studios, clubs, festivals and the unstable electricity of live performance.
01 / The Trajectory
Electronic music became a way to compose, produce and perform as one continuous act.
Sam’s electronic practice grew through independent releases, collaborative studio culture and live stages. As Ambidexter, he developed a performance language in which composition could remain flexible, physical and responsive.
The years spent building sets, moving audiences and solving music in real time remain present in his current sound art. The tools have changed and the listening has deepened, but the live instinct continues.

02 / Live Language
A live set is not a recording played louder.
Controllers, keyboards, guitar, percussion, voice and live processing allow a work to be rebuilt inside the conditions of the room. The performance holds a composition, but remains open to timing, energy, error and discovery.

The form keeps changing
Thirty years of performance have become a deeper enquiry into what sound can do inside a room full of people.
